Renesas Electronics Group (TSE: 6723), a global supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the launch of its global technology partner network, the “Renesas Ready Partner Network,” providing commercial-grade building blocks. The network brings a wide range of solutions to key technologies required for next-generation IoT designs, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, security and encryption, connectivity and cloud, human-machine interface, sensing and control, tools and user experience , and emerging or specific application technologies.
Powerful software ecosystem building blocks to accelerate development
The Renesas Ready Partner Network provides users with easy access to a wide range of solutions with immersive technical content; each solution includes a solution brief listing the benefits of combining third-party products with Renesas products. Customers can also access related videos, webinars and technical documentation through the website.
Kaushal Vora, Director of the Strategic Partnerships and Global Ecosystems Business Unit at Renesas Electronics, said, “The Renesas Ready Partner Network and Renesas’ products work together to help users more easily select and deploy core technology building blocks in complex IoT applications. We now have more than 100 solutions to simplify and accelerate the design process, and are continually adding more strategic technologies that combine with Renesas’ base products to create unique, complementary and differentiated value.”
Third-party partner solutions need to be integrated with one or more of Renesas’ product lines, out-of-the-box, and validated to qualify for the Renesas Ready Partner Network. In the network, each third-party solution will receive a “RA Ready”, “RX Ready” or “RL78 Ready” badge depending on the MCU product it is paired with.
“The Renesas Ready Partner Network creates a common environment and method for customers to access third-party solutions for Renesas’ different MCU product lines,” said Roger Wendelken, senior vice president of Renesas’ IoT and Infrastructure Business Division. “We believe , this program complements Renesas’ hardware-focused Renesas Preferred Partner Program to further provide customers with complete hardware and software solutions.”
