RECOM’s RACM1200-V power supply is designed to meet the medical specific safety standard 2 x MOPP (Measures of Patient Protection). Recognized by standards organizations such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the European Commission IEC60601-1, the standard requires the RACM1200-V to provide 3000Vac of Operator Protective Measures (MOOP) isolation Voltage, maintain 5mm of creepage and 4mm of electrical clearance and provide double insulation between the primary and secondary sides of the power supply.

In addition, the RACM1200-V meets the low leakage current limits specified by IEC 60601-1 for Type BF (Body Insulation) applications, which are generally conductive and have direct contact with the patient’s body for extended periods of time. For applications requiring more than 1000W, the RACM1200-V can provide up to 1200W of constant output power with 2.5m/s forced cooling. The RACM1200-V features an integrated 12V fan controller, ensuring that the fans are only activated when needed to maintain high efficiency.
